overall my experience with PennyMac was very good. Maxwel Mitchell was always in contact with me and from the beginning he helped me choose the best option that would suit my needs. Thank you.
My Loan process went very well considering delays experienced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Only a few days over the promised closing date, but communication between the PennyMac team and myself were all timely and to the point. Very easy team to work with.
Easy process.
While there were hiccups, Max worked hard to get everything resolved. The only frustrating part was having to wait multiple times for answers due to things I wasn't even aware of. Also was not able to do the first closing because of a clerical error. But everything was worked out and I appreciate all the work that was out into making that happen.
I selected Great because there was no selection between "Great" and "Just All Right". The rating I would give is "Good". There were some time labs between getting responses that some how were not received for periods of time. I understand that this may have been impacted by the COVID-19 and demand imposed by the low interest rates. Recommend that you consider offering what your competitors are "allowing lowering interest rates if they lower before closing. Especially Existing Customer.
Removing Rob Gillespie from my account. Chris Porter was amazing, and saved my business, but Rob's in ability to communicate effectively was the reason that this loan took 6 months to processs

I referred my daughter to have her mortgage refinanced due to the professionalism of their work.
The LO who started the paperwork must have left the company and I NEVER heard from another person. I had to keep calling different customer service people (all who were pleasant) but fell thru every time. We chose Penny Mac because you had our last mortgage, we thought it would have been easier to keep it inside same company. I would not recommend you at all because there was zero follow up when the first guy left. I’m quite upset that we paid all that money to fall thru the cracks
