My closing was rescheduled 3 times . I would of liked to been able to contact the person I was dealing with when issues where going on with the closing . Then yesterday I received an email saying our loan was funded . Then my wife gets a call asking about our June payment . When we where told we would not have one until August . It just seems like to me that the teams devised of penny Mac do not communicate . So now Monday is the 15th and I’ll have to call back to make sure that everything is ok
Very hard to communicate. Phone number provided always went to voicemail. Did not know the final funds to close until notary was here.
There were bumps in the road along the process but the staff al worked with me to make sure I was happy in the end. We smoothed things out and we’re able to close with benefits to me and my partner. There was some lag in communication with some of the team but thankfully Tahitian pulled it all together for me and served as a middle man for me to communicate my concerns. In the end everything worked out.
Was how attentive the loan specialist was to our questions and concerns. He was able to answer everything with detail and help us understand the terms and help us feel comfortable going through the process.
I'm very satisfied how the agents explained me, all requirements and stages of the loan, the way the web site informs and shows the actual stage the loan process is at, (In real Time), the confirmation I received in my email after a phone call is a plus for me, sometimes you can forget something when you are on the phone, but when you receive an email after you spoke with an agent make your self secure in what you have to do to make the loan process very friendly and understandable.

There were multiple mistakes on my closing documents and not once did anyone apologize. These mistakes include writing a name down wrong and having to reschedule signing. When this happened I spoke with someone and they Questioned me on the name and tried to make it out to be my fault even though it was clearly the loan processing’s fault. No one ever apologized for this. Additionally, three times the loan documents Had to be redone because they kept adding my insurance and taxes into the loan.
It was a long time from my initial application to closing. The portal did not always accept my documents clearly and I had to re send several times even by email since copies could not be seen. I received an email stating that I needed proof of continued employment or my closing date would be moved. I was panicking since I had made attempts to provide this information. It turned out that it was a false alarm so communication was not great. Very little communication through the process.
