Both individuals I had direct communication with, were personable, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I would glad recommend them to anybody, who would need help with a home load. A personal note: If they didn't live in another state(s), I would gladly have them as Friends.
Had a great experience refinancing with PennyMac. From the start of the process until the close, the folks there were engaged, helpful, and reliable.
At closing I was a little surprised at the closing costs added and felt that it was more than I was expecting. I called my Loan Officer but he was gone for the day. He returned my call the next day and explained it in detail which helped. I think it just wasn't originally explained clearly exactly what costs go where.
Asking for the same documents over and over. Not answering questions or providing an additional quote with $10,000 down. Having to do the third party loan clarification 3 times for the same loan.
The whole process was clearly defined so we knew what to expect and communication was exceptional.

We did not enjoy working with Nichole Littleton. She did not return emails promptly, she also seemed annoyed when speaking on the phone. I wound up going to the gentleman we initially spoke to (Mark Mitchell) for all of our question. Mark was amazing, prompt and able to figure out answers to all of our questions. He clearly explained expectations ect. We would recommend using Mark Mitchell at PennyMac but WILL NOT recommend using Nichole Littleton!
