PennyMac made my refinance a very easy process.
I was informed by my customer service specialist she would contact me the next business day I never received the call. The customer service individual did inquire if I had have any questions that question should be asked after the entire process related to closing is explained. At no time did my personal representative make me aware of the process.
After the initial call the process seemed disconnected.
The refinancing process was made very easy. Everything was thoroughly explained leaving only a few questions to be asked since this was new to me. I would highly recommend PennyMac Loan Services.
It was difficult to get my loan representative on the phone when I had detailed questions. Also the document request portal is needlessly confusing and difficult to navigate.

Easy process
Your options are too limited. It was somewhere between Just OK and Great, so to penalize you for a too restricted set of choices, I went with just OK. On the estimated closing statement, your payoff of my 2nd mortgage balance was off about 7,000 due to payments made over the 6 week process. At closing, no mention was made about not accepting a personal check for over 1,500 dollars, so the following week I had to go to bank to get a cashiers check.
PennyMac made the refinance process so easy. They clearly communicated what was needed and were very responsive to any questions we had. They were not pushy and were just overall great to work with.
