I began the process in January 13th, it wasn't completed until May 5th. The amount to close was wrong, TWICE. My documents needed to be signed TWICE, because the first notary did not know what he was doing, didn't speak English and wouldn't call anyone with questions. I have two mortgages with PennyMac, this was just a refinance with an additional paydown of principal. I'm not sure what took so long.
Once we got hold of a loan agent on the phone, the whole process was quick and easy. Everyone was very patient and explained clearly, and all the estimated time frames were met or exceeded.
