Overall great experience with using PennyMac to refinance our home!
It was a smooth process. Everyone I worked with was very helpful.
Updating the payoff statements when I sent them several times to get a more accurate closing statement. Also it would make more sense to send the payoffs directly to the creditors instead of to me then I sending them back to the creditors.

My experience with Penny Mac was great! The constant 2-way conversation was timely and appropriate. I would recommend them for anyone.
Sometimes did not know exactly what was needed on documents sent to me... Went to "closing" and closing had been cancelled "by the lender" and I was not notified!!

Things went great overall. The only thing I didn't like about the whole process was the excessive back and forth with the required documents. I feel like it could've been reduced by explaining better what the requirements for the docs were. More details please.
The process was quick and painless. The only negatives are the wait times when calling in and the inability to contact someone directly.
