The process was generally clear, speedy, and professional. The answers by the team were generally to the point and accurate. The last week before closing was a bit rocky given multiple changes to the amount of cash to close but it wasn't too hard to fix. Overall, it was a positive experience.

I feel a lot of people were involved and it took a long time to hear back from people. At one point we were told we would get money back at closing (few thousand dollars) and the next we were told we owe (6,000/7,000) This is a huge miscalculation. At closing nothing was owed or given. Didn't sit well with me and I still don't know exactly what happened. The loan started in Feb and just closed. I was kinda over it all. Some of this wasn't due to Brent but the entire team.

Communication was very poor. There should have been regular updates on the process. At one point, I was ready to walk away.

Our closing date was rescheduled 3 or 4 times and every time it was rescheduled the amount we had to bring to closing changed. When we met with the attorney at closing we were shocked and felt very unprepared when we found out the amount we were to bring had doubled without anyone telling us. No one could give me an answer as to why this happened and even after calling I never got a response. This is our first home and first refinance. Horrible and disappointing experience from the beginning.

The process went without a hitch. The only real concern I had was having an appraiser in my house to take pictures of each and every room, especially during the coronavirus.

There was a lot of disconnect between people. We would talk to someone and they would say one thing and another person would say something else. Communication was not clear and we had to follow up a lot to make sure everything was working out ok.
