During a pandemic and a staff working from home made this refinancing process from start to finish easy for us on our end. PennyMac Team great experience overall!
I didnt get great advice the first attempt at refinancing, which began in Nov 2019 and then the process was abruptly cancelled. Couldve been avoided had there been a little more care in informing me of what was needed by when. Was asked to submit the same docs over and over. The second refinance attempt went better but I had very poor experience with communication beyond the original loan expert. At one point, no one responded to any of my requests of communication/updates for 13 days.
Communication could have been a much much better especially when there is complications in the loan process.
