The process to refinance my mortgage was easy and straight forward. It took a little longer than I had initially expected, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic that came around shortly after starting the refinance process, I feel they handled it as timely as they could have. I feel I was in great hands through the whole process!

Sandra B. was responsive and proactive, ensuring that we stayed on track with our closing date. It was a dual closing, which made the transaction tricky, but Sandra was able to deliver on time. It was difficult to determine if requested documents were communicated to my loan processor, because she would ask repeatedly for the same things. Also, once one document was sent there would be a request for a similar document (in this case I'm referring to my homeowners insurance - Penny Mac knew I had homeowner insurance; my original loan was with Penny Mac, and they had just made a payment out of escrow for it, yet they asked more than once for proof of insurance). Just two examples.

Nick and team were great, the process was efficient and easy. Communication was clear and all questions were responded to quickly.

The two gentlemen, Austin Evan's and Steven Bruce, representing Pennymac were fantastic in handling our loan application. Despite a telework status due to COVID-19, both were available to answer any questions that I had and were quick to provide required documentation. Both gentlemen were polite and friendly during the application process and were extremely helpful in explaining the various policies and available options. The whole process felt like dealing with friends than a business.
