In my Closing documents, the Origination Fee was charged. During the initial review for the refinance, I was told the Origination Fee would be waived. However, it was added to the estimate and subtracted and then re-added to the loan.
the closing was not what had expected and when I tried to contact my loan agent he never returned my calls

There were a few times that things were confusing, but Mona was always very helpful. I thought that everything would go much slower when all the changes were implemented because of the virus, but we still closed pretty quickly.

We had plenty of options to refinance with other companies but my family stuck with Pennymac because they are receptive to my concerns, offer bi-weekly payments, quick to respond, very polite, and extremely knowledgeable about the VA loan process. When I called Pennymac to explain that I would like to refinance, my loan officer was diligent and pushed through the process at a pace that i could understand. They offered me an interest rate I was looking for. Thank you Pennymac team.
