Everything was done online. Only had to see one person the notary. Everyone was safe during CoVId.
Everything happened fairly quickly. And almost all of my questions were answered.
When I sent in my refinance request I thought I would hear from a representative in a few days or a week. I was really surprised to hear from them later that day. My next contact was with My'Esha Allen the very next day. She told me how the process worked, how long it may take and what to expect. I was very impressed with how quickly they contacted me and how friendly the Mac Team was. The loan closed a little faster than I expected and I am very satisfied.

Sucks at communicating. Worse loan experience among my life
PennyMac was responsive and answered questions. The rate was good. Because my spouse and I were in separate locations, I asked she be included in information emails. Didn't always happen with the computer generated information so that was irritating. Overall experience was good I think but wished my closing costs coul have been shared with PennyMac as a good faith gesture for staying with the company. Nothing personal I guess, just business. Everybody has a bottom line...
Denny was great. Very patient explaining the process. Everyone at MyMacteam wax pleasant and helpful.
Review Process was smooth for the most part. The only part that was rocky was the first closing attempt when the loan documents were not accurate and had to be redone to match the accurate closing disclosure. Other than that the closing process was smooth and the loan officer answered all questions in a timely manor.
Once again PennyMac refinancing was completely seamless and stress free.
