In spite of a pandemic crisis and incomplete appraisal, my refinance was smooth without any hassles.

Communication was great in the beginning, but then fell off a cliff, I'm assuming because of the virus. There would be weeks of nothing at all, then I'd send an email, and rather than a response, the process would just be moving to the next step. In the end, I was given the option of receiving a check or ACH, I chose ACH, but the money was wired. I was charged a 15 dollar wire fee by the bank.
The ability to contact Rosario whenever I needed her. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that they kept asking for documents that I had already provided. I would use Penny Mac again if I ever bought another house. Thank you to Rosario great thank you

My overall experience was great. Hilda was professional and friendly and frequently contacted me with the status on my loan. Every representative from Penny Mac was more than willing to help me when I called them with questions.
The appraisal was disappointing. It should have come back 6k higher.
