Buyers need to have a direct phone number to contact the person/persons handling the loan. We were constantly having to leave messages. The appraiser was sent to the house a couple days before closing. This should have been done from the beginning. Repairs had to be made which held off closing another week. It was a LONG process and we are just glad to finally be in our house. Corey and Rosario were very nice. I don’t blame them for the “hiccups”. The process just should have been easier.

There were some problems around the appraisal processing. It took me calling PennyMac multiple times to get answers. The final "ok" took a full three weeks after the appraisal was submitted for review. It appeared that there were some flaws in the process and communication was not very good during that time. "Just wait a little longer" is not a very professional answer. I would have expected a more proactive communication process.

Once the correct closing documents were provided to the closer the process was completed in a timely fashion.
