The only person who was helpful and knowledgeable in this process was Nathan Hoffman. He should get a giant raise. He seems like the only competent associate. There were multiple issues with my closing documentation and I spoke with several different people who assured me that they "fixed" the problems over the course of several weeks. Thank god I took notes of our agreements and terms, because I would've been taken advantage of otherwise. Do not trust as a loan originator, only a servicing co.
Haven't ANY Documents Yet! Been 12 Days! Unable to Print From Home As I Indicated To Brian, My Loan Officer. Probably on their way. Corona-19 Virus May Be Slowing The Process! The Entire Process Was A Special Quality! Thank You PennyMac William and Shelley Zimmerman
The process was pain free. The service exceeded my expectation. Requested to close early and the pennymac crew facilitated this request. Did not have to provide tons of paper work which made the process a pleasant experience
it was good experience
very knowledgeable and enthusiastic
I started the application process in January, closed end of March that was kinder than I expected, My wife was added to the deed her information was requested twice after it had been provided, therefore holding up the process I was told there would be no closing costs or fees, they wanted to collect over $300 dollars, had to dispute that. I was told by Mr. Kirk that I would have the option to skip up to 2 payments, that was not true
the process was very easy
Prompt responses from loan team would've made a huge difference. There were a lot of people reaching out to us, that we didn't expect to interact with. It quickly got confusing. The delay in closing was all in part to not having a clear contact person that could answer our questions in a timely manner. It was frustrating at times. Yet despite all of that, we felt we were given a reasonable rate for out refi loan.
Better communication between departments of retail and loan servicing. I was stressed when my old loan was flagged for almost being late with payment while my new loan was still funding. With the uncertainty of what my actual new payment would be, the cost of closing, the uncertainty of when it would actually close, the change in some of my employment due to Corona virus, I lived the month of march in constant worry about what would happen. It's not all due to Penny Mac. It was a weird month.
