This is the second time I am refinancing through PennyMac. First time around the process went smoothly and great experience. This time, many times I was frustrated. Load officer - Steven Garcia - would not return my calls for days and I had to keep escalating to talk to someone. The automates messages would keep requesting me for documents. When I called the loan officer they would say it is not needed. Automated messages were annoying.

The length of time of the loan was not acceptable or expected. It was also not communicated. I want to make this clear, Cameron was great with his job, but the organization's time expectations and communications was terrible. The loan should not have taken this long to complete. I was only told at some point when I asked why the loan was help up that there was an issue.
Having Laurie available to answer any of my question my this process and experience great. Everyone at Pennymac always offered to assist me at the same level of sevice.
