Everything was smooth up until a week before my closing date. When just a few days ways, information was completely off on our initial CD throwing all of our numbers off. So we did not have a good idea of somewhat accurate numbers. Then within 48 hours of closing, documents were being requested that should have been requested weeks prior. Then again, within 24 hours, the same thing happened with document requesting. Our closing was pushed back at fault of PennyMac and their lack of attention.
Fee for appraisal was greater than the actual cost. no refund or credit was given. Agent and title company seemed to have difficulty communicating with PM at closing. Rate and credits could have been higher since I was an existing customer
My only issue with this time around is the closing process and at what stage the VoE was performed. Doing the VoE the day before closing and then getting the wrong information which initially caused my loan to be denied and then required me and my partner staying at work past 8:30pm (CST) on a Thursday night before the scheduled closing (1/3/2020) pushed my closing back to 1/6.

From the moment I made my application your phone system began redirecting all calls to any pennymac number to the loan processing department. This made it very difficult for me to discuss alternate loan scenarios. I was unable to review these alternate scenarios until the day before scheduled closing on the original scenario. After closing and funding I attempted to call to speak about a home equity line of credit. All of my calls to your offices continue to be redirected.
Definitely appreciate your service and accuracy. Thanks from my wife (Sandra) and myself.
