Well, it was very disappointing since I was assigned a Loan Document Officer Leticia Gomez but I never heard from hear, instead I reached out to the phone number for the TEAM and each time they helped me. We moved through the Process of the "TEAM" but quite frankly if it hadn't been for me asking questions this time would not have happened. MY Loan Officer Layal, did exactly what she promised and this was to complete the Loan/Escrow/Closing on the date reqested.....she was incredible and would

My experience with Penny Mac was beyond frustrating, unprofessional, and stressful. I plan to do everything in my power to change mortgage companies. I should have closed 4 months ago, I was never given a straight answer about the process, my calls and emails were never returned. I spent countless hours on a daily basis waiting on hold and then given different and inconsistent answers from my "Penny Mac team". I was sent 5 different pay off letters! I was quoted numerous different cash to close!

It was a quick and efficient process from start to finish. PennyMac makes everything convenient and virtual for the most part (closing is in person, obviously). Overall a stress-free process that required minimal effort from me.
The PennyMac could have communicated the progress status a little better. There was some confusion concerning a PennyMac email concerning e-signing where there was no reason for me to do anything. I was locked out of the portal attempting to e-sign. I sent an email and no one returned it. I had to call and speak with someone new to get an answer and unlock my account. The title company didn't get the documents to the Notary on time, so the settlement signing was a couple hours late. Not good.
Was the only company to offer the full amount of equity in the property after it has radically increased in the past few years.
