Quick efficient and closed at my house!
Overall the experience was more than unpleasant. From day one, our loan was set up to fail on delivering. When spoken to about locking in the interest rate and setting a closing date, Bethany, informed us to set it at June 30th since that is the end of the 45 day lock-in period and it was a safe bet. This was even though we told her the house was scheduled to be finished on June 22nd and our AirBnb ended on June 27th, she said it would not be an issue to close early. Would have been better if I was considered for an assumption loan as I deserved one after bringing Lewis jones’ loan current with a $20,000 payment. Your website claims you offer assumption loans and I was awarded this house in a divorce and have been paying on it but you refused to offer that. Not to mention your staff offered next to no information regarding assumption loans. I realize you make a lot more money refinancing at a ridiculous interest rate and that’s why it didn’t happen. Grace did an amazing job making sure that we were informed on what was happening at all times. Initially we were told from our realtor that we shouldn’t go with PennyMac though everyone Dwayne assured us this was not the case. Both Dewayne and Grace made it feel like a local company. Would highly recommend.
Closing day was a terrible experience with me being unable to get ahold of Michael Di Leo for close to 6 hours. I received different information from many different loan processors who didn't seem to be communicating as a team. The only processor who did take notes and communicate effectively was Josline. I do appreciate the phone call I had with Manny after closing. Also, my experience with Michael Howarth was great as always. If I refinance I'll go back to him for sure. Greatly appreciate the timely and quality service
Process team did a great job. But not sure who is responsible for disclosure changes over 2 time with wrong info. And it is frustrating when loan officer says, I'm not sure who changed it.
