The process was somewhat hampered by either the servicer or a disconnect in the pennymac team. We provided the same documentation several times, we explained where everything came from, and in the end Norma was either kept in the dark from the beginning or she just plain didn't understand (possibly new to this). Example - we provided at least 3 months worth of banks statements at Pennymacs request, each time explaining that the large influx of funds came from the sale of our previous home.
