Transition from Jennifer Brucker as our point of contact to Grace Sparks was unclear and a bit off putting. Request for "proof" of a bank deposit was unclear, i.e. IRS made a deposit and this was clearly identified on the bank statement but it took a 15 minute conversation to get out of it I needed to upload my tax return showing that same dollar amount. Hilda was very informative and spelled out the way things would be handled the first time we spoke with her. After that phone call, she was hard to get a hold of, responded poorly and did not give us current information. Several times, I ended up calling someone else who would give us the proper current information. Her lack of organization and response time along with never being current with exactly what was going on was extremely frustrating. I'm now on my second mortgage with PennyMac and should I ever need another mortgage it will be from PennyMac. Best, easiest, customer oriented mortgage company I've dealt with.
I was disappointed no one explained the consolidation payout process to me. I had to call several times to get an update on that portion of the deal after the closing was complete. Everyone thing was smooth until now. I pay my bills on line for most part. So, have to track down creditors address, go post and get post and mail check to each is a pain. It took way too long, too many documents were requested more than once, we aren't very familiar with all the electronic ways of sending information, uploading, scanning (Then finding the scan on our computer), forwarding information, our best way to do that is by FAX or MAIL (USPS, FEDEX, UPS, ETC.) and too many times the Fax wouldn't go through, we don't know if the problem was on our end, or your end.
