It was a great experience. Since the beginning of the loan, everyone was very helpful and polite. They took time to answer my question and guide me thru all the paperwork and the requirements. Thank you for an easy and pleasant mortgage.

Several gaps in communication, where statuses didn't update for 1+ week. Requested communication via email but still had phone calls frequently (while traveling for work and unavailable to take calls).

I closed 16 days late with no explanation. When I pushed for info about why, I would just receive requests for docs I already sent, as a stall tactic. I would have appreciated someone owning up to the fact that delays were caused on your end, instead of trying to gaslight and re-request docs.

I was not happy that I was not advised that I would have checks delivered to me to pay the debts off. I assumed Penny Mac would take care of that. It took my extra time and money to send the checks to my debtors. Now I am worried about if they will get them and if Penny Mac will accept what I did. I paid extra to have the checks sent certified mail. That should not have been the case!!

Accurate information and timely communication. The one request I made was not respected, I am unsure if that is on PennyMACs side or the title company. I am not happy with the title company either. I tried calling during signing because the paper work was missing a portion I expected to be there, the person with the title company was already gone for the day. I left a message and I have not received a call back. Super poor communication and this mistake is actually very unpactful on my wellbeing.
