I had to reach out for status updates frequently. It seemed like the loan process was put on the back burner until we got close to the expected closing date. When document errors occurred on the loan processors end, I was forced to pay the consequences which in turn increased my cash to close. All of the issues could have been avoided had they prioritized my loan. I never received a single accurate cash to close statement until a week before closing.
