There was a lack of communication between team members. I would give someone the information and less than 24 hours later the exact same issue would be called again.

Very straight forward process.
My experience was great.
My agent moved fast and called me occasionally with updates which was good. I prefer that the team calls me rather than me calling and having to be placed on hold. I also wish their was communications between the teams. My refinance was delayed due to my mortgage payment with pennymac was late, and I had to go make calls to inquire on why my automated mortgage payments were canceled. Apparently the pennymac refinance team and the pennymac mortgage team don't communicate with each other therefore I had to go and make the call... read more
I think I have to give a "Shout out" to the loan originator "Christa" who follow-up with Anna from beginning to end to ensure it all went smoothly.
Let me be clear that Justin was amazing. I filled out the survey with mostly positive answers so he could be recognized and get credit for his work. Him and Vincent Chu saved the day for us. This process was actually horrible and I will never use Pennymac again if we need another loan or to refinance and I will not recommend Pennymac to anyone, ever. Mr. Gallo was great. He was prompt, kept us informed and was extremely polite. He deserves a bonus!
