We had a refinance and a home loan going at the same time. Your IT setup doesn’t allow for this to be done via your phone free system. Teams were redirecting us, disconnecting us and confusing our efforts. We had incorrect processes and missed details down to our closing being in the wrong city and with incorrect details from our 1031. This is our 10th loan in 7 years and is by far the worst loan process and organizational setup we have ever encountered.
Quick process quick closing
The whole loan this time was a mess. I had to submit multiple documents twice, and had a couple times I wasn’t informed that documents were needed. I had a good experience with Penny Mac previously on my other mortgage, but I learned that a loan officer will be much easier next time, even if it does cost a little more. The stress and time taken out to have to find, scan, and re-submit documents was excruciating. Eric always called to check in and communicate how the loan process was going. He was a source of knowledge throughout the entire process as well. He was always in a great mood and had high energy during the process.
Since we knew HOA documents would need to be filled out by HOA officer-it could have been sent out right away and the information about Master insurance could have come from HOA rep since I asked her anyway.
It was a pleasant experience from start to finish!
Sharyl, Lara, and the PennyMac were great to work with. The loan process was fast and easy. I like to have hands on on my projects, but this team was always ahead of the game and always answered any of my questions. Great working with you all.
