Communication didn’t went well , 2 o 3 people asking same . My first application was closed without telling me why ? , then was created a new one
Nicole was very helpful during the process. However, having jumped between loan agents a couple times during the process was a bit frustrating.
Due to an extended closing timeline, PennyMac had 45-60 days get everything together and approved. The underwriter had a ridiculous request of requiring an insurance binder prior to approving the loan. The reason this is ridiculous is because no insurance carrier will allow an agent to bind the policy more than 30 days before closing. Secondly, it was the 11th hour before I finally received the final loan disclosure. When the notary showed up to close the loan, he said we were supposed to be told a witness was required. ... read more
Peter did his job well. My concern is that the Pennymac back-office process needs work. If I hadn't called weekly to push the process along or connect dots on the behalf of Pennymac my load would have continued to drag on. I started the process in November and closed in late March. I understand there was a subordinate loan, but penny mac seemed content to send an email and wait indefinitely.

Candice Williams was not the reason for my unpleasant experience. My first application was denied and a MAC Team member named Mario never ever communicated with me one time. A document I submitted with no guidance from anyone from PennyMac was given to the underwriters and I was denied. I received an email that said credit denied, please review these documents on the portal.
