Our experience with PENNYMAC went very well. We would definitely recommend them for your next home loan or refinance.
Lori Gibson and Roberto Montoya specifically were awesome. No complaints at all. They were great to work with. But, we were closing in person at the title company. All parties were there. And as we were signing the documents, someone at PennyMac told the title company to stop the closing process. We had to come back the next day. Luckily we did not need to be in the house right away. I was not happy that I was not advised that I would have checks delivered to me to pay the debts off. I assumed Penny Mac would take care of that. It took my extra time and money to send the checks to my debtors. Now I am worried about if they will get them and if Penny Mac will accept what I did. I paid extra to have the checks sent certified mail. That should not have been the case!!
Overall Amanda was very professional and was helpful all the way through with here timely responses to my questions
Communication is clear and understanding.
I prefer one on one not emails. And having requests for documents by 4 different people on documents that were already sent was getting annoying
The loan was closed on time. There was some confusion regarding the tax prepayment which caused my cash to close to increase by more than $3000. I think that could have been handled better.
