still cannot believe that we actually closed in less than (2) weeks from my original call to PennyMac. Glad we chose to refinance with the bank that has held our mortgage for the last several years. very impressive.
Both Joe Kirleis (processing) and John Kimble jr. (sales) were both responsive and helpful with everything. Having worked in the industry in the past I know how difficult it can be to move loans along with required processes and waiting for document requests from clients. They both completed their work with efficiency and professionalism.
Adam Key was not responsive at all. I reached out to him 10+ times, and after I committed to the refinance he only returned my message once. He provided terrible customer service.
I requested a digital copy of my closing paperwork and never received it. I called and called and never got a reply. I emailed as well and no reply. Another reason why I am unlikely to refer penny mac is the high fees to close
Andrew was very prompt with any questions that we had. He spoke to both my husband and myself individually went through all of our loan options.
Easy people to work with and good communication with lender. Possibly easier because we already had our loan with Penny Mac !
Very easy to talk to and work with.
We refinanced our existing PennyMac loan and signed papers in a timely manner. 3-4 weeks later we were notified of a problem with the paperwork. It took an additional 3-4 weeks to get new papers signed. Two signing appointments were canceled and we were not notified ahead of time. There were multiple issues with the title company and various other people not knowing how to do their job. If it had not been for Drew Schmelig and his communication with us we would have gone with another company.
Nick was wonderful to work with. Answered all questions in detail. Helped us with document signing and gave me all of the information needed promptly. It was the best and easiest re-fi I've experienced. Because we have been so pleased with our experience with Penny Mac, our brother,my daughter, my granddaughter have allused Penny Mac successfully and we couldn't be more satisfied!
