the people that we dealt with were very helpful and took care of any question that we had and work hard to keep us on our time line
Nic was good. The others prior acted as if there was no communication and redundancies in requests. Uncertainties. Very poor until Nic took over. And the fella that originated the process was excellent.
The loan process took a lot longer than expected; just short of 3 months.
Had to pressure PennyMac for a better rate, I was a current customer so I wanted to keep my business with them. I got a much better offer from an outside lender than their initial offer which I had to use to pressure PennyMac to actually give me a good deal. Service was fine, they just weren't trying to do me any favors.
Very Fast close, nicely done.
