There is a MAJOR ISSUE with this community's water bill. During the sale process, the monthly HOA fee was quoted to be $155, which increased to $170 after an year (understandable), however, they recently increased the monthly HOA dues to $300 by adding a $130 water meter fee (actual water usage fee will be in addition to the $130 meter fee). Wouldn’t recommend buying home in this community. Most of the home owners were promised by perry homes sales team that water utility bill is included in the HOA of 180$. But now perry homes backed out and added additional 180$ towards water utility, which made ~350$ of HOA every month which isn’t worth for this community without any amenities.
We were under the impression we only owed $180 a month in HOA fees. Then HOA decided to tack on an extra $180/month for a “utility bill”. Would not recommend a home here unless you want to be nickel and dimed by the HOA
