This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere great, as always. The only comment I have is that the waiter should have asked us if we wanted more coffee, however, it certainly did not mar a very enjoyable dinner.
great service & food as always - thank you for taking a last minute reservation on Friday night!
Everything was very good. Service was excellent. Had one of the best champagne cocktails I have ever had,
Always a great place to go! Nice menu and great specials. Service is top notch.

Always a favorite for flavorful dishes, friendly service and excellent value. Running on to Tony Bennett concert, so did not have as much time. Tried bacon stuffed shrimp as a quick bite that a friend loves. It was tasty and different along with a decent size glass of wine. Love that it is not skimpy. My friend raved about the soup which the waitress described as a chicken noodle soup without the noodles but chuck full of veggies. She had the salmon on th board and said it is some of the best cooked salmon around. This place... read more
Another excellent dinner at Phoenix City Grille. Plenty of choices on the menu for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Lots of interesting appetisers, sandwiches, salads and entrees. While I no longer eat them, I remember that the short-ribs are succulent. I had a veggie plate that wasn't up to par, but our appetisers and salad were as desired. I'd go there again arriving early as we did this time because parking can be an issue.
Great food and friendly staff! Live in the East Valley and have eaten here several times
