Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Had a fantastic meal at Phoenix city Grill last night I had their special which was chicken over fettuccine with a lemon caper sauce it was excellent and I took half of it home because they were so generous my husband had the Vietnamese steak sandwich and he thought that was also really good and we had the hummus as a starter and was one of the best I've had so we'll definitely be back soon🌵
I was slightly disappointed. It did not help that the day before our visit, Chef Rory Hewitt left the establishment. So, in my head I already felt odd about eating there. I have lived in the Valley for 13 years and noticed PCG years ago, although this was our first visit. It was a landmark birthday for me and a friend. We enjoy coming to this restaurant. The service and food can be counted on plus a good central location that is easy for visitors to find
Delicious Caesar salad and carne Asada tacos. Server should have brought my warm tacos after I had finish the salad.
Over the years the food is consistently very good. Nice size portions, great choices. For us it's a neighborhood restaurant where you know you will always get attentive service and delicious food. It's a go to place for us.
Reliably delicious! We've visited this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. On this particular night the cedar-planked salmon was outstanding! The cedar imparted tons of delicate smoky flavor and the citrus-horseradish sauce was a wonderful and very creative compliment which brought new life to this tried-and-true dish!! We also loved the crispy eggplant bites topped with goat cheese and my husband loved his burger. Thanks for a great night!
