We took our son and his girlfriend there for his birthday dinner. Always good food, good service and they give a complimentary dessert for birthdays. Our favorite restaurant in Phoenix.

Another wonderful evening and meal at the PCD. We were meeting a new friend and so wanted a place we could talk, not rush AND have a great meal. Nailed all 3. Our waitress was very patient letting us take our time ordering. Between the 3 of us we had the Pollo Asado, Roseland Chicken (might have the names wrong there) and a steak. Had a fantastic meal at Phoenix city Grill last night I had their special which was chicken over fettuccine with a lemon caper sauce it was excellent and I took half of it home because they were so generous my husband had the Vietnamese steak sandwich and he thought that was also really good and we had the hummus as a starter and was one of the best I've had so we'll definitely be back soon🌵
I was slightly disappointed. It did not help that the day before our visit, Chef Rory Hewitt left the establishment. So, in my head I already felt odd about eating there. I have lived in the Valley for 13 years and noticed PCG years ago, although this was our first visit. It was a landmark birthday for me and a friend. The food was delicious although my steak knife was presented on the edge of my plate which left it sitting in the sauce which draped my flank steak.
