Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. PCG is always a treat. We've been dining there for years and have never been disappointed. We had reservations for 7:00, but came a bit early for a glass of wine at the bar. it was packed!! We managed to find a seat and enjoyed a nice, reasonably priced glass of Zinfandel. Connor, Austin, et al always do a great job handling the bar area. We were there for my birthday and the food was phenomenal! Would definitely recommend for a special occasion dinner!
I forget how good this restaurant is and the wide selection on the menu. While new restaurants continue to pop up in this neighborhood, PCG remains consistently great .
The three of us enjoyed our meals. Good soup. Good salads.

Wonderful experience. We were invited in even though not quite officially open! Nice touch. Great service with an extremely knowledgable server! Food was exceptional and the suggested dessert was perfect!
