Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. PCG was awesome. Great beers on tap, great cheesesteak, pork shoulder, and short ribs. Service was efficient and attentive. Wholly enjoyed the night.
The food, wine, décor, and service at Phoenix Grill were superb. We visit it each time we are in Phoenix and are never disappointed.
Friends recommended we try PCG and they did not steer us in the wrong direction. Although it is located in a strip mall , don't let that fool you. The interior is very cozy with lots of dark wood and lowlight. The food was excellent. ... as was the service. Reasonably priced menu items and great cocktails. A real bargain compared to some other restaurants in the city. We will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant.

I just love this little place. Food is amazing and has an upscale feel without crazy high prices!
Fantastic food and a rare pride in the staff was inpressive.
We had a fabulous meal. Everything was great -- quick service, coupled with creative and tasty food. The restaurant isn't especially kid friendly, but we had our young daughter with us, and the staff made sure she felt at home.
