This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

We had a fabulous meal. Everything was great -- quick service, coupled with creative and tasty food. The restaurant isn't especially kid friendly, but we had our young daughter with us, and the staff made sure she felt at home.
I eat here often. My favorite meal is the Cedar Plank Salmon. This meal is served with a beet salad and finger potatoes. The Salmon is never overlooked. It is deliciously moist and a large filet. The fresh beet salad is wonderful, as are the finger potatoes. My companions had the sirloin and the ribs; both cooked to perfection. The service is the best in town. The ambience is rich in the interior with low lights to give you the feeling of intimate dining. A great place to take your friends
The food was excellent! The hostess was overwhelmed and our server never smiled, showed no personality and I had to ask what the specials were.

I just love this little place. Food is amazing and has an upscale feel without crazy high prices!
Reminds me of the banker/broker restaurants I frequent in NYC. Really good and well prepared food. I like the fact that it isn't really kid friendly. A real grown-up place where you can have a nice selection of grown-up food and conversation. The location is great. We've been turning others on to this place for lunch and pre-show dinners.
A great neighborhood joint with excellent food, comfortable booths and great service. An awesome drink menu and lots of options to satisfy everyone's taste. A true locals restaurant with a rather older crowd. Younger groups tend to go to the Vig or Garage around the corner. For this, it's a tamer quieter spot which is refreshing.
I wasn't sure what to expect from Phoenix City Grille but it certainly wasn't the great food and one of the best desserts I've ever had! I had trout with asparagus and cauliflower as an entree which was good. The caramelized Buttermilk Pie was outstanding!
Short ribs were terrific as was the cedar plank salmon.
