Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. We were celebrating my 81st birthday and our friends' anniversary, which we do every year. We have frequently there as the food and service have always been good. This day they had a seafood special (which we all ordered. It was pan sauteed fresh brook trout with crab meat, sauteed baby asparagus and garden ripened tomato slices.. AND WE ALL LOVED OUR CHOICE. We had one of the private rooms, wonderful - we laughed - got loud, had a great birthday celebration- Brittnee was wonderful!! & wine & food as always fabulously delicious!!
Overall a good experience and would definitely go back for a date or with friends. My husband ordered the baby back ribs and the seasoning was fabulous! I had ordered the short ribs with horseradish mashed potatoes. The potatoes had wonderful flavor and texture. I would recommend this restaurant to friends.
Phoenix City Grill is 5 Star. The food is excellent. I love the small plates. Prices are reasonable and service is just great! Please never change.
The only thing I would have changed or could have been done better was keeping drinks refilled but, I drink fast and alot with my meals

As always Phoenix City Grill was great. Always great service but our last visit was exceptional with a great server to celebrate a birthday with friends. They did more than we expected and that is always a plus. Special treat! I must say that the server was the best we have ever known. Very efficient, on top of things and cheerful. Wish all servers were like her. Overall, five stars for a great birthday celebration.
This was the third time in the last six months that we enjoyed brunch at PCG. We had the Benedict Tenderloin, and it has been superb each time! We had reservations, and although it was quite busy, we were seated right away. The service was top rate, friendly and efficient. I highly recommend PCG for a leisurely Sunday Brunch. You won't be disappointed!
This my favorite restaurant. The daily specials are gourmet, The chef is fabulous.
