Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Terrific place to gather with old friends and talk, and talk, and talk. We were very well treated even if we stayed longer than a typical dinner party. Food was great, service even better
PCG is in an area that has become a restaurant cluster. There are several great places in the neighborhood, but they're still the best. Check it out!
I have never been disappointed there. We had 5 people in our party and all ordered a different dish-they were all great. My personal favorite is the grilled trout! They were very busy and our waitress did a great job.
Phoenix City Grille had great food, service and ambiance. I would recommend to family and friends.
Was looking for a good place for a group of 12 from work and reviews led us to Phoenix City Grille. We wanted someplace that had good food and was not too loud and not too fancy but still had an interesting menu. PCG hit all the right notes. The room is nice and comfortable if lacking in design "wow factor" but the menu is both accessible and interesting and everything we ordered was delicious. Looking forward to many return visits.
Phoenix City Grill makes you feel at home and aims to continually get feedback from their diners to improve their service, menu and overall experience. It is a great place to stop off and eat before heading further down town to entertainment or sports venues. The servers go out of their way to please their tables. A great customer friendly place and the food this time as well as all other times as been tasty, innovative with savory flavors and textures.
OUR SERVER WAS ABSENT MOST OF OUR MEAL. WE HAD TO ASK THE HOSTESS FOR WATER! CEDAR PLANK SALMON DELICIOUS, AS WAS THE GREEN SALAD WITH CHICKEN. ATMOSPHERE IS ALWAYS GREAT! WILL RETURN, BUT HOPE I DON'T GET THE SAME SERVER!
We keep coming back every time we are in Phoenix. There are lots of good restaurants to choose from, but when we take someone out we want to know it will be good. Phoenix City Grill never lets us down.
PHX Grill a great hidden gem. This location was the perfect brunch location for my girlfriend and I. We were looking for a nice location to have brunch before attending a play later in the day. We had a great time and the food was excellent. We are looking forward to going again in the future.
