A very nice neighborhood restaurant; not pretentious and fairly quiet as compared to most popular restaurants today.
We went Sat night to try the Restaurant Week menu. Service was a little slow but the restaurant was packed, so understandable. We started with the ahi and eggplant appetizers, both excellent; and the shrimp and spareribs entrees. Our meals were delicious, except Mike's ribs were overcooked and dry. The bread pudding dessert was delicious. Thanks!!

We have been to Phoenix City Grille in years. Some friends suggested it for restaurant week, and we thought it would be fun to try again. What a pleasant surprise! This is a great neighborhood restaurant, that I wish we had more of in the Valley. Every course was GREAT! We loved the touch of heat in all the food. We are still raving even a week later. And, having checked out the regular menu, we will be going back for some interesting things we found on there.
Food was excellent and plentiful, service was friendly and efficient. The only downfall is the parking but this certainly is not a reason to eat there. It was Restaurant Week and perhaps more people were there than usual.
There were seven men - six had never been to Phoenix City Grille before - one had. It was recommended by a person who like to go to your restuerant and was glad we did. Becka (hope I get that spelling correct) was our waitperson and she was outstanding.
I went here for AZ Restaurant week + my birthday celebration. Great food, great service and great area! Check it out if you're in the neighborhood. Staff will make sure you are taken care of.
PCG Never disappoints ! Always awesome service with excellent food & beverages. The best part is the great menu selections (soups, chili, salads, sandwiches or entrees) ! Do Not pass up the Specials or JD Bread Pudding !
