This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

The food, service and ambiance is always outstanding at PCG. This past visit was no different. All the entrees were delicious. Two of our party had the short ribs and raved about them. The wine selection there is extensive with a selection for anyone's budget, from expensive to very reasonable. The menu is also very diverse and with a wide range of pricing. We've dined there many times and have never been disappointed.
We have eaten at the Phoenix City Grille several times in the past and always enjoy returning. We generally go there once a year -- when we are in Arizona -- and meet colleagues and friends for lunch. The food is great and the ambiance very conducive for conversation. We recommend it most highly.
This is one of our go to neighborhood places that consistently delivers. Our group this particular evening had varied appetites and PCG comes through with flying colors delivering hamburgers for some to the special Halibut (expertly prepared and presented) for others. I don't think you can ever go wrong eating here.

Phoenix City Grille is the best restaurant in town. Great food prepared by a chef. I had broiled chicken which was stunning. Everyone at our table had something different and all raved about their meal. We tried the crispy eggplant appetizer. It was so good we ordered two more.
The food is always good and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and professional. This is a good spot for a business lunch or to meet friends and family.
I always enjoy Phoenix City Grill. It is an Easter tradition. The staff is wonderful and always helpful and the food never disappoints.
We wanted a great meal for our last night in Phoenix and certainly found it here. I loved the fish special of grilled quinoa-crusted ono with a citrus gastrique, roasted beets, and an apple fennel salad. Delicious! My table also enjoyed the green chile burger and the beef short ribs, although those were a bit dry. Our server didn't know all of the details about the special, but she was more than happy to go find out for us. The ambience was very nice. Great lighting with beautiful hardwood floors. Decided to give this place a try based on the great reviews on OT. Made a reservation for 6 on a Friday night for 6:30 just 50 minutes in advance of when we were scheduled to sit down. The parking spaces out front are limited which forced us to park in the back, which was fine because it allowed us to enter PCG from the rear entrance. You walk through the kitchen to get to the hostess stand. Convenient and intersting all at once. Once inside we were seated quickly. The restaurant was packed but that did not impact the high q... read more
