This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

One of our favorite go to restaurants. Great for date night, lunch, or a drink. Its central location makes a perfect meeting place for our East side friends. Classy enough for us while not being pretentious. Reasonable prices.
We had 5 people at dinner for business discussions. Server was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Drinks and food came out timely and well-prepared. Noise level was a little high, but I guess that's what is expected from a high-energy restaurant that is popular. Overall, we had a great experience.
Phoenix City Grille used to be predictably excellent. This was my second dining experience in row that was lacking. The night's special was Sea Bass. I ordered mine medium rare so it would arrive juicy and not over done. Our server informed me the chef was not comfortable preparing it that way. If fish is fresh, medium rare is perfectly safe. Since it was the night's special, I am assuming it was fresh. Ironically, I had pan seared Mahi Mahi earlier in the day at Phx Grille's sister restaurant Sierra Bonita. The fish was coo... read more
Fabulous, tasty ,our guests really enjoyed it, we always love it.
Meal was outstanding. I had a sea bass special & my friend had two small plates, that were pretty good sized. Our food was presented beautifully and tasted wonderful. I would recommend this restaurant highly.
My friend & I dine with you about once every 3 months. This past weekend, the Idaho Trout was the best I have ever tasted! Hats off Chef Rory! We decided no more chain restaurants this year.... only supporting the local scene. Love PCG, my favorite! Will be returning once a month. Thank you~
We had a wonderful New Year's Eve dinner and loved everything about the PCG. It was hectic since it was a busy holiday but that didn't affect the quality of food nor the service. Be sure to book a table though, especially for occasions or holidays as more and more people are discovering how wonderful this place is!!
We chose Phoenix City Grille for our New Year's Eve dinner and were very impressed with the quality of food and level of service. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere that can be suited for a regular dinner or any special occasion. Our food was excellent and our server was wonderful. We will definitely return and I have already recommended Phoenix City Grille to various family and friends.
Arrived a little early for the reservation but was seated right away. It took a while to receive service but the restaurant was very busy. Our server was very nice and personable. We started with the griddled corn cakes and they were delicious....different than any appetizer I've had before. For the entree course my dining companion had the Black and Bleu burger and raved about it. I had the Crispy Eggplant sandwich, which is the best sandwich I've had in a long time - an amazing mixture of flavors with the herbed goat chees... read more
