This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

Great spot for dinner (haven't tried it for lunch yet). Menu has selections for all tastes and the variety made it hard to decide what to order. The cedar plank salmon was great as was the grilled asparagus. My companion enjoyed a vegetarian sandwich with garlic mashed potatoes and said every bite was perfect. Large wine menu with many affordable options and several intriguing types of alternate drinks. Will definitely go back. They had the accommodations we reserved ready when we arrived.
We were a group of seven and I'm glad we chose Phoenix City Grille. Everyone liked what they had and the service was excellent. The reservation we made was for 6:00 pm on a Friday, so the place was pretty crowded. The staff were understanding of us. Not everyone in our party made it on time and they were nice about seating us a little late. My wife and I have also eaten there in a weeknight, when traffic and parking aren't a problem in Phoenix. I definitely will come back.
Find unique flavors and variety in the foods available. Friendly staff even though the atmosphere is more upscale, I feel comfortable because I like to dine where I feel I'm welcome regardless of my income bracket.
This is one of our favorites, and each time we go the food is perfect. The service from the staff is always the best customer service from all of the staff. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone.
I made reservations a couple weeks prior, and as soon as I walked in they showed me to a table that actually had a "reserved" placard, which was nice. The food was plated beautifully (and delicious) and the cocktails were spot on! Great food, good service, wonderful ambiance, good selection of wines and old friends.
We went here for Valentine's day and it was a great experience. The only complaint I have was that it was a little loud and our table was really close to the other table, but those are just nit picky problems. The bar is great, with a large selction of beers, alcohol, and wine. The staff was friendly and seemed very happy to have us there. We have been there twice in the past couple months. The food is great, the service is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and there was a very nice ambiance. We could have not asked for anything more. We will be back.
My wife and I went to the Phoenix City Grill for dinner on Valentine's Day. The restaurant was extremely busy. The food was excellent. My wife loves lamb chops and she was extremely happy with how the lamb chops were prepared. We had very good service even though the restaurant was very busy. There were a number of conversations being carried on around us, however we were able to have a private conversation between us. We will definitely have dinner at the Phoenix City Grill in the future.
