After driving 45 miles we arrived with a couple friends to share the great food and ambiance of our favorite restaurant. My husband and my dinners were wonderful as usual but I was a bit embarrassed when our friends dinner looks like children's portions. This had never happened before but Murphy's law was in effect that night! Probably still one of my favorite restaurants!
Overall I was happy with our experience as the atmosphere was excellent and the food was wonderful. But I had a reservation and still had to wait at least 10 min for our table and the service was just ok.
We ate outside on a balmy night. . The small plate of a salmon skewer over a beet and arugula salad was perfect. Delicious,imaginative and just the right amount for a small appetite. One of my favorite neighborhood spots.
The Phoenix City Grille is a neighborhood restaurant with all of the wonderful food, atmosphere and great service of a well known, long standing business. When I visit for lunch or dinner, I'm always greeted with a smile of recognition. The food is tasty and unique. My favorite is the salmon on a cedar plank. Their soups are delicious as are the salads. The bread pudding is my favorite and served to share. Service is outstanding and friendly.

Tasty and healthy take on traditional fare. Selected the trout filleted and boned over A Flavorful vegetable and rice combo. Portions Are just right. Fun bar scene that does not interfere With a quiet dining experience.

Went with my dear friend who recommended it and enjoyed it so much. We started with the shrimp wrapped with bacon appetizer and the eggplant appetizer both delicious. We split a salad with apples, chicken, and other goodies can't remember the salad name was big enough for two no dessert but will come again for the buttermilk pie!!
