This friendly neighborhood hangout feels like it's been around for much longer than it has. Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. Pizzas and light bites perfectly complement a glass of wine, beer or cocktail from the bar.

Can't beat $4 mimosas on Sunday morning? Phoenix City Grille is a tried and true neighborhood cafe.
business was slow (Sunday evening on Labor Day weekend), but service and food were, as always, very good.
I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this new dining experience having never heard about it. We took a friend who chose it as he goes there a lot, to celebrate his birthday. The food was simple but beautifully presented and we all enjoyed. Excellent choice lof wines by the glass at reasonable prices.
This place is a staple for Phoenucians in the know. We actually only came in for happy hour and ended up eating dinner. The sweet potato fries were seriously wonderful. Great dipping sauce! The asparagus perfectly grilled. The Malbec perfect to sip or eat with. I love that wine (that was a previous server suggestion on another visit) My friend had a salad with a rare ordered filet. This was one of her fans, but this time it was medium well done. That was surprising, My black& blue burger was to die for. Perfectly medium rare... read more

Very good. You will not regret it.
The food was very good, our waitress was a sweetheart, but I didn't realize it was sort of a bar atmosphere. There's no need for dress up, casual is fine. I've seen people in their jeans in there. It was a little pricey for what we received, but it was good nonetheless.
Consistently excellent service and food. This is a Phoenix diamond.
My second time dining here and was not disappointed. A creative menu of familiar items served in a different fashion; combining dissimilar tastes and textures. Try the various chicken specials and the "Buttermilk Pie" for a good surprise. Low light dining in a comfortable setting. I would dine here again and again.
