Probably because of the old black-and-white photos of Phoenix that cover the walls or the ease with which the patrons settle in for a casual meal or a drink at the bar. Whatever the reason, you will feel comfortable and welcome here. The menu features large portions of all-American mains with Southwestern twists. The food was outstanding, with large portions. The service was excellent. They do not rush you there. I will definitely go back again.

It's sort of a hidden restaurant on the east side of the strip mall. It might be easier to park on the north side and walk over. We were there at 6:45pm and it was already pretty full on a Monday night. I took the recommendation of the waitress on the food (Pot Roast) - and it was the best! The others in our group, also enjoyed their food. It was a perfect evening.
We've visited this restaurant far more than any other in Phoenix since moving here a year ago. The happy hour deals are a good value, the food never disappoints and the atmosphere is always relaxed. Lately the service in the bar has been slower, but we always decide it's worth the wait.
