After being publicly shamed for having PTSD at Quick Care Family Medicine, I showed up to this place needing to see if I had a UTI. From the front desk lady (Lawanda) to the nurse (Kaitlyn) to the provider (Cody), everyone treated me kindly and respectfully. I am so thankful I didn't have to wait forever or answer a bunch of questions in front of other patients like I did at the first place I went to. I brought my daughter into a Physicians Care Walk-in Clinic in Pelham, AL, a couple of months ago, and I’ve been meaning to write this review since then. Just want you all to know that the care she received was personal, yet professional. We were greeted by Lawanda at the front desk with a big smile and welcome. Mainly, I would like to compliment or "shout out" three of the employees at this particular urgent care. First, it would be the amazing Lawanda who works at the front desk. I was really disappointed with my recent experience. The physicians care doesn’t have a weekend receptionist, which made checking in unnecessarily complicated. I had to wait for someone at another location to return a call just to get basic information and check me in, this threw off my schedule. For a company that advertises convenience, this setup is anything but. I hope they can improve their staffing or communication process so SICK patients aren’t left waiting next time. Everyone was very, friendly, patient and accommodating. I was having difficulty reaching My employer to assist in needed documentation to move forward with My physical , and the beautiful young Woman at the front desk was very patient. And instead of leaving Me unaware to the process and her needing to check Me out because of the timer for service, she came outside to let Me know the process. The nurse was fabulous. And the doctor was very caring and professional.
