I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mother has moved into Piedmont Post Acute. The main reason we chose it was because she had been there once before. It was under a different name, but it's the same staff and everything, and it's close to her family. She really likes it there. Right now, she's there for rehabilitation to help her walk again after the break of her leg. The staff has been very helpful and very attentive to her. I am a friend or relative of a resident The staff was always very friendly but the facilities were sub par. I really did not want my family member placed there because her outlook on life changed dramatically once she was moved. She was unhappy and lost all sense of independence. Nursing homes that accept medicare are always very run down and dingy. In order to reside in the nicer facilities families and residents must be prepared to pay a lot out of pocket.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident If you want your family member to be sitting in urine and feces all day this is the place. No use pressing the call button…maybe they will show up in an hour. It’s easier for your family member to scream at the top of their lungs….help help!!! Then when someone walks by they will come in the room. This place is supposed to be a rehab place….NO. You can’t rehabilitate an old folk in 2 weeks….especially when the staff is maybe there 10 min 3 days a week! these people are not... read more

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My father was placed in this facility for rehab from a UTI after a hospital stay for a week. The facility was dirty on Thursday evening when we checked him in, there was a urine puddle in the hall that was never cleaned up while we were there that evening. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident My mother was in Piedmont Post Acute. They need to improve on communication and the staff. There's not enough staff available and reaching somebody is difficult. The room was average. The food wasn't great, I saw the food but I didn't eat it. The portion was small and there was no selection. A lot of the amenities were not active, there was a hair salon there, but no one ever used it. During the three weeks that we were there, I didn't see them utilizing some of the things... read more
