This is my favorite place to go in Portland. You can hike the many trails, explore the open forest, play on the biggest, best frisbee golf course ever, or play on the playground. Pets are aloud and this is a great place to explore.
I had the GOOD FORTUNE to be accepted as a resident in the Pier Park Apts. soon after returning to Portland after 3 years in N. Ca., following my husbands [of 25 yrs.] death. St. Johns is a truly unique township where diversity is welcomed, which I found to be true as well within the Pier Park Apt., neighborhood. I lived there back when it was the St. John's Woods. Yep. A million years ago. Might as well have been..... Saw my parents' car---supersweet, midnight blue Nova, stole from these apt's parking lots. No joke. The thieves had their young children--me and my brother's age---with them @ the time. I saw them put on the cowboy hats in the back seat, even though they were so very clearly not theirs.
