I'll go into detail below, but the takeaway is: This doctor will not listen to you or even believe what you say, he will over medicate you in medications that didn't work in the first place. He has no care for your mental or physical health, and will even put your life at risk, as long as you're ill enough to keep seeing him and keep putting money in his pockets. Had 1 appointment with him years ago. By far the most inhumane unprofessional doctor. He does not care about his at all. Just the money. Run from him.
I have been seeing Dr. Patel for over 4 years. He has been nothing but kind and compassionate towards me. His patience is second to none and I know he always has my back. He has worked with me extensively, provided further therapy resources, and always listens. Seeing the other reviews breaks my heart, as he is one of the best Psychiatrists I have ever known. If you are between ages 13-16 I would not recommend coming here especially if you don’t really know how to talk about what your experiencing, the guy started off nice and introduced himself but as I got older he kept telling me the same thing even if after I told him how I felt about certain stuff, he talks to me like I’m a little kid and thinks I do not understand certain things about my medication he proscribed a medicine that would go against my adhd medication. If I could give zero and report Dr.Patel I would. Came in for my very first In-Person Visit in May 2023. Asked Dr.Patel before we went too far into formalities; because most places don’t prescribe my medication which is why that’s become my first question. “Can you prescribe ______?” To which Dr.Patel responded, “Oh sorry no, now a days not all doctors have that license especially in state, plus many are out of state which is why they do a lot of Teledoc services.” Which makes sense because my experience with finding mental ... read more
