Playa Azul has been managing my property for the last 6 months or so. I am very pleased with their work. They addressed/corrected several tenant related issues that I inherited from previous owners. I highly recommend them to any landlords that are looking for a good property management company.
I signed a lease with the prior property management who was wonderful but when "Playa Azul" acquired the property everything went down hill fast. They're rude, abrasive and shady. After acquiring the property, they DOUBLED my rent. Despite keeping the unit in immaculate shape they refused any of my deposit back citing my apartment was "Disgusting", which was complete nonsense. They even charged me $25 for a spatula I left behind in a kitchen drawer. Complete slum lords.
They want the money before showing you any house. No thanks that sounds more like a scam they’re running to keep the money and rent it to someone else they think would be perfect , meanwhile they’ll probably be keeping everyone else’s hard earn money from “fees” meanwhile giving them hope when most likely they weren’t going to rent it to you
Plaza Azul Property management has failed to make necessary repairs, taken months to perform the most minor of repairs, and most recently canceled two requests in a row for extermination of a severe ant infestation. Upon my second request they canceled my online portal making further requests impossible. There has been bulging water damage in the ceiling which was never addressed for over 6 months. Homeowner & renters BEWARE. This company does not care about your property. They will let your home become dilapidated by doing the absolute legal bare minimum (and it takes tremendous effort to get them to even do that). The turnover rate at Playa Azul is bad. Every time you call the person you knew had left and a new person was there. I don't even think they have a single employee over a year there right now.
