About this business

PM Pediatric Care came to life in 2005, when Dr. Jeffrey Schor and Steven Katz — college roommates who went on to pursue careers in medicine and business — wanted to create an alternative to the emergency department and a friendly environment designed exclusively for children and young adults. Since then, PM Pediatric Care has expanded across the country with the mission to improve healthcare access, quality, and service. To date, we have seen over 4 million patients, treating everything from asthma attacks to sports injurie... read more

We did a walkin for our sick kid, completed the checkin process, waited for 45 mins to be called, later informed that we didn’t complete questionnaire like insurance details and others. It’s the third time we are visiting PM Pediatric, they should have all the insurance details, they could have put us in the queue rather waiting for us to complete. With a sick kid, no one would spend time filling questionnaires, anyhow you are going to send it to insurance and we are going to pay the bill, treating as if we run away without... read more

I have always had great experiences here previously. My actual visit with the doctor was a five star visit. He was kind, and very transparent with me. It's what happened later that evening that was so horrendous, that if I could give negative stars, I would. I called my local Solv (in Bergenfield,NJ) later that evening, because although the pain had been manageable in the afternoon, by that evening, it was not. This is not a complaint about the reception staff, because I know they were providing me with the responses that t... read more

Dr would not prescribe cough medicine or prescription for teenager with fever, cough or fluid in ears. They told me according to “ American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Recommendations not to give cough medicine”. . Then what’s the purpose of taking patient to urgent care. Waste of time and money if Dr is not going to do anything.

This is an after hours urgent care - I only go here when I can’t go to my regular pediatrician. Waits can sometimes be long but I found their “online self check-in” to be tedious and arbitrary. Sometimes the receptionist insists you do it on your phone and other times she will do it for another patient… I brought my child in for a skin condition over the weekend, she was seen by a physician assistant who looked at it, asked a few general questions and said it was a viral rash, said it wasn’t contagious and would go away on i... read more

The check in process is horrible the girls at the front desk will not help you they make you do it all thru your phone. As him struggling holding my sick kid in one arm and my phone in the other.

I usually don’t write bad reviews but this time I’m an upset mom that took her child to this urgent care and left more confused than coming in. My son was super sick Friday , throwing up and with a horrible cough. Bought him on that notion on Saturday to this urgent care and left being told to keep my kid hydrated and ride it out. They also said my son has some type of virus that going around and he should be fine. My time in that room was no longer than 15 mins . Now it’s Wednesday and me trying to “ride it out” as I was to... read more
