Polaris 3900 works GREAT, far better than our previous 380 BUT: the bag is apparently NOT removable like on smaller models- at least I think not- since Polaris has yet to respond to my inquiry THREE (3) WEEKS AGO on whether it detaches as on other models or is permanently affixed making emptying the bag somewhat problematic. We have good information about your debris bag! To remove the bag, detach the velcro strips. Twist the bag collar and pull up to free the bag from the cleaner. The Polaris 3900 Sport Pressure Pool Cleaner is money well spent. I would highly recommend purchasing this particular model because it does a phenomenal job! My water is clearer, my skimmer filters less and my pool walls have never looked cleaner. This is a great investment!

I am really happy with my purchase of the Polaris 3900 Sport. It does a great job, and my pool stays clean all the time now. I was wondering how long it takes to get the $200 rebate back, we sent it off on May 20th, and it is now June 5th. I will try to inquire more about the status, and hopefully it will not be much longer. As far at the cleaner, I couldn't be happier with it.

The P-39 is doing ok in the deep end of the pool but I can’t get it to spend much running time in the shallow end. It will most likely take me getting in the pool and fine tuning the adjustments. The backup valve is not as strong as the old style as far as moving the unit around the pool. It is doing much better than my old unit.
